Privacy Policy

This is a plain-language description of what a small, early-stage product actually does with your information — written by the person building it, not reviewed by a lawyer. If you have specific legal or compliance requirements, please reach out directly and we'll work with you.

What we collect

Waitlist. When you join our early-access list, we collect your email address. Nothing else.

Account & product data. If you sign up for the product, we collect your name and email, plus whatever business and marketing information you choose to enter — your organization name, business details, goals, and anything you type into chat with the AI assistant. Passwords are never stored as plain text; they're hashed before we save them, and authentication tokens are hashed too.

Automatic technical information. Like any web service, our servers log standard technical details (things like IP address and browser type) as part of normal operation.

How we use it

To run the waitlist and let you know when the product is ready.
To operate the product — generating your marketing plan, drafting content, and running the features you use.
To improve the product over time.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Third parties

Anthropic (Claude). When you use the AI assistant — chat, roadmap generation, or task drafting — the content you provide (business details, questions, requests) is sent to Anthropic's Claude to generate a response. This is currently the only third party your content is shared with as part of how the product works.

Hosting. Our infrastructure runs on Google Cloud.

We don't use ad networks, and we don't share your data with data brokers.

Cookies & tracking

We don't currently use tracking cookies or third-party analytics on this site or in the product. If that changes, we'll update this policy first.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to run the waitlist. If you'd like your data deleted — from the waitlist or from a real account — email us and we'll take care of it. There isn't a self-serve "delete my account" button yet, so for now deletion requests are handled by hand.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information: passwords are hashed (never stored in plain text), authentication tokens are hashed in our database, and connections to our services are encrypted.

Children's privacy

Marketician is a tool for business owners. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your information, including access, correction, or deletion. Contact us and we'll do our best to help — even if you're not sure exactly what to ask for.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page as the product changes, and update the date at the top whenever we do.
